Melina cringed. Oh dear God. She risked a look at Duncan from behind squeezed-shut eyelids. He was standing there, one hand on the door knob, his chin practically on the floor, eyes wide.

“Hey, buddy,” Gavin said, pushing up on one elbow. “What’s happening?”

Duncan appeared to be speechless. Giving Melina a glance of amusement, Gavin said, “You wanna shut the door, maybe?”

“Uh…yeah.” And Duncan backed out of the room, the door snicking shut behind him. Gavin met Melina’s eyes and they both started laughing. Abby too giggled.

“Did you see the look on his face?” Abby chortled. The three of them fell back on the bed. Melina looked up at the ceiling, still smiling, as Gavin took her hand in his. God, this was unbelievable. And Gavin was okay with it, apparently. Not mad at her, or horrified or disgusted.

Although God knew he could be. Maybe should be. Maybe Melina herself should be disgusted at her behavior. But nobody had been hurt, and all three of them had taken pleasure—hell, a lot of pleasure—from what they’d done.

“We should go back to the party,” Gavin murmured a long moment later. They were all lazy and sated.

“Yeah.” Melina was the first to roll off the bed and start searching for her clothes.

When they were dressed, Abby stopped at the door and turned back to face them. “Thanks, Mel,” she said softly. “I know that wasn’t your usual thing, but it was fun.”

Melina smiled. “I’ll probably never do it again. Thanks for making it okay.”

Thankfully, no one was in the hall as the three of them left the bedroom together. Melina ran her hands through her long hair to try to smooth it. “You look fine,” Gavin said in her ear. He put his hands on her waist as he followed her down the stairs. “Maybe we should go home now.”

She looked at him over her shoulder. “Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay.”
