CHAPTER SEVEN

ZAYNE DIDN’T NEED to be told twice. He pulled her close and walked to the bed, kicking the door closed behind them. He lowered her before he gave her a little drop. She let out a squeal when she bounced onto the mattress. Her red hair fanned out onto the sheet like flames.

Everything about her made him think of fire—her fingers set off sparks like match strikes, her eyes smoldered and burned, her kiss... Hell, kissing Andrea was like kissing nitroglycerin—it made him wonder if he was about to explode. It set every nerve on high alert.

He yanked his T-shirt over his head and knelt on the edge of the bed, crawling over her before lowering himself down for a kiss. She welcomed him with open arms, sliding her hands down his ribs and around his back. Skin on skin. He wanted the same, so he took the hem of her blouse and tugged it up. Andrea shifted her weight to help him drag it up and over her head.

Her bra was pale pink satin, with a tiny bow in the center, right between those perfect breasts. He bent down and kissed the skin right above the bow. Her back arched and he licked his way along the edge of the bra up her left breast. Then he reached under her and unfastened it. If he thought her breasts were perfect in the bra, they were even better now that they were free of it. Ample and soft, with rigid peaks he needed to kiss. He went back and forth between the two, kissing and nibbling and pulling until she was writhing beneath him.

Her hands fumbled for his belt, yanking it free and unbuttoning his pants. He slid off her and pulled them off, while she wriggled out of her shorts and panties. He dropped onto her and plunged his tongue into her mouth, holding her face with his hands.

She seemed as frantic as he was. She gave an urgent moan and her hands traveled up and down his body. Then they wandered lower and gripped him. He mumbled a curse into her mouth. He was already rock hard, and her touch threatened to undo him before he ever got inside her.

He pulled away from the kiss just long enough to grab a condom from the nightstand, rolling it on and immediately getting himself between her spread legs. He felt like they were both racing right now, and as much as he didn’t want to stop, he didn’t want this to get out of control. She let out another needy whimper and his body jerked against her in response. Her eyes were closed, her lips parted.

“Look at me, Andrea.” His throat was so full of emotion that he could barely form the words. Her eyes swept open. He’d stopped moving, but it still took a moment for her gaze to focus.

“What are you waiting for?” Her words came in a gasp, telling him all he needed to know. She wanted this.
