Abraham and the Lost Boys believe southern Sudan, through the SPLA, is fighting back to preserve the rights of the Christians and non-Christians who have suffered in this war. The southern Sudanese will worship God regardless of the oppression. They know the pain of having airlifted food and medicine confiscated by the northern military. They've seen the results of strategically placed landmines where gardens once flourished. They've heard their children cry out for water when their wells have been filled with dirt and debris. Churches, schools, and hospitals are also destroyed when bombs destroy homes. Men, women, children, and soldiers are on their knees pleading for God's help.
