Museums

Taman Mini is a fertile hunting ground for museums, both within the park and just outside it. There's the Soldier's Museum (Museum Preprajuritan), which is a Camelot-style building featuring warriors from around Indonesia. Two of the more interesting museums are the Museum Asmat, containing an excellent collection of woodcarvings from the famed Irian Jaya tribe, and the Museum Indonesia, the most important museum in the park with costumes and ethnographic exhibits from all over the country. However, you might find your greatest thrill at the Museum Fauna, which has an enclosure with fearsome Komodo dragons.
