Gouzous are like the local Space Invaders. If you’re not familiar with those chubby faceless figures yet, you will be after your trip:

Jace Ticot’s creations are everywhere, from the side of a building opposite St-Pierre’s main bus station to the back of an electrical transformer on the volcano road… Gouzous have even travelled internationally and been painted on walls on every continent!
