Chapter Eight

The sex was raw, angry, needy, and utterly divine. I needed it. He needed it.

I don’t understand it, but I feel at ease now. As if we both had to get that out of our systems to move forward.

As the pleasure rips through my body, my legs give out and I collapse into the bed, with Logan draped over me.

Somehow, we’re still mostly dressed. I remain sprawled on the bed, spent, with my chest heaving and gasping for oxygen as I watch him walk across the room, drop his condom in the trash, and place a pile of condoms on the side of the bed. He grips my waist, helping me into a standing position, and spins me around to face him.

I’m helpless in his arms. Loving him and wanting all of him. Logan laces his hands in my hair behind my neck, pulling my mouth to his in a delicate kiss before his hands move down my neck to my shoulders.

“Let’s take this off.” He plants a delicate kiss on my collarbone and pulls my dress and bra straps down off my shoulders. My wrap dress falls to the floor, leaving my industrial strength lace bra tethered to me.

I reach behind and undo the multiple hooks, watching the awe and wonder in his eyes as the corset falls away, releasing my breasts from their prison.

I stand naked in front of him. In all my shaved, yet chubby, glory.

I’m not nervous though. The look in his eyes makes me feel sexy as hell, especially when I see he is hard again already.

Goosebumps cover every inch of my skin, except for the damp heat between my legs. Logan cups my breasts in his hands and squeezes them gently together. My nipples pebble into painful peaks in the cool air, but Logan wraps his lips around them, breathing warmth into my body as he sucks and worships one nipple and then another. I moan at the way he flicks them, making my body writhe.

Logan steps back away from me, taking in my body with a devilish glint in his eye. “Lay down angel.”

I rip the top blanket off the bed and slide under the top sheet, my body shivering at the coolness, as I watch Logan pile kindling and logs into the fireplace and flick the switch for the gas ignition. A few seconds later the logs are burning, Logan has stripped off the rest of his clothes, and is crawling up the bed towards me with his muscles rippling in the firelight. My mouth drools at the sight of this god approaching me.

Logan peels the top sheet away from my body and kisses my stomach and belly button before lifting my legs up and over his shoulder. When he dips his nose and inhales deeply, I about melt into the sheets.

“Mmmm.” He hums and presses his tongue into my body. I whimper uncontrollably, digging my heels into his back, and grip the sheet underneath me as he flicks and sucks my sensitive areas, moaning his approval.
