Method

Attach cages to a wall. Use wire to secure air plants to give the look of plants trailing from the cage or sitting on perches like small birds.

Display and care

This wall is semi-shaded and only gets a few hours of sunlight a day. As it is under the eaves, it is protected from rain and well ventilated, making it the perfect spot for air plants. On windy days, close the cage doors so plants will not be blown out. The stems of the caulescent plants are easily broken, so take care when removing dead leaves from the ends.
