POST-RACE CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT

SAUDI ARABIA GRAND PRIX

Nikolai MOROZOV, Ryder KING, Blake STONE

Q: Nikolai, I’d like to start with you. What a great start to the season for Nightingale. Two first place wins so far for King, and another top ten for Stone. Do you feel confident that this trend will continue the farther we get into the season?

Nikolai MOROZOV: I’m confident in both drivers. Ryder has had two good races so far with more than a ten second gap between him and second each time. After the unfortunate accident that took him out two seasons ago, he worked his ass off to get back on the track and that hard work is obviously paying off. Blake is still learning. This is her debut season and the pressure on her shoulders is immense, but she’s taking it in stride. While she doesn’t have the experience that Ryder brings to the team, she’s young, passionate, and determined to get every millisecond she can out of the car. They’re both highly-skilled drivers and it’s up to us now to give them the car to match those abilities.

Q: So you’d say Blake is settling in well? Are you impressed with her performance thus far this season?

NM: Like I said, Blake is new and it takes time to fully get comfortable within a team as a seasoned driver, let alone one just starting out. We’re working with a completely new crew as a fresh team, but she’s blending well with them. There are growing pains, but we’re all pivoting where we need to in order to make things work. Overall, she’s a great addition to the team and the circuit, and we’re happy to have her on board. As for her performance, it’s only the second race of the season. Give her some time and give us a chance to get her the best possible car and we’ll see what she can really do.

Q: Speaking of the car. With the two week break between Jeddah and Australia, are you planning on making any major changes or upgrades?

NM: We have a decent sized upgrade coming for Australia and possibly a little more coming later, around Miami, but it all depends on the drivers and engineers feedback.

Q: Back to the drivers. Are there any noticeable differences in strengths between the two of them?

NM: It’s difficult to say with it being this early in the season. Obviously Ryder has an advantage with being here, in this circuit, before. But they’re both experienced in their own ways. Blake is adapting quickly. She’s learning from Ryder and from each time she gets behind the wheel.

Q: Do you ever miss being the one out there behind the wheel?

(Nikolai remains silent and the floor is motioned to continue with the next question)

Q: Ryder. Were you happy with how everything went for you with the race today?

Ryder KING: I won, so I’d say yes.

Q: Will we see you on the podium for the next race in Australia?

RK: Possibly.

Q: Tell us, do you see a
