Lizzy traced a slow path around Joanaâs exposed nipple. The darkened bud was already stiff from her attention. She circled her middle finger around the elongated nipple, fascinated by the goosebumps that seemed to appear wherever she touched.
The remainder of their clothing was strewn about the room. The fire had gone out in the coal-burning stove, but Joâs nakedness was warm all over, heating Lizzyâs skin like a bonfire.
Covered by blankets, Lizzy blindly felt along the juncture between Joanaâs legs. She could already feel the slick heat that had started to coat Joâs inner thighs.
Edward had touched her there once. The advice manuals called it by various names. Sweetness of love. Fury of venery. Without this, the fair sex neither desire nuptial embraces, nor have pleasure in them, nor conceive by them ⦠so that it may properly be styled the seat of lust.
Lizzy heard Joâs sharp intake of air, and she immediately stilled.
âIs it too much?â she worried. âDo you not like it?â
Jo clamped her thighs around Lizzyâs hand as if afraid she might remove her fingers altogether. âNo. I want you to.â
Joana relaxed her thighs and let her hips fall open.
Emboldened by the consenting words, Lizzy slid her fingers through coarse curls to discover the fount of Joanaâs arousal. She outlined the shape of Joâs sex, pulling more encouraging sighs from the other woman. Lizzy pressed a single finger against Joanaâs opening. She moved her fingertip in small circles, collecting more slippery liquid on the end of her digit.
Lizzy wanted to enter her like a man might, but she lacked the proper equipment. Her fingers would have to do.
Lizzy held her breath as she slowly sank her middle finger into Joanaâs warm and welcoming embrace. She released a shuddered breath when she felt Jo throb around her single finger.
âAre you still okay?â Lizzy asked. She searched Joanaâs features for signs of distress or discomfort.
Joâs mouth had fallen open, but she made no discernible sounds. Lizzy pushed a little deeper until her entire finger had been consumed.
Lizzy didnât move her finger. She closed her eyes and breathed deeply. She pulled back only slightly and pressed forward again. Joâs quiet moan filled her ears.
âTouch yourself.â Lizzy grabbed one of Joanaâs hands and repositioned it just above her own occupied hand. âHere.â
She pressed down on Joâs extended fingers, guiding her to the seat of lust. A sharp, surprised noise was followed by something deeper and lower.
âThere. Yes,â Lizzy encouraged in Joâs ear.
Joanaâs hips began to buck off the thin mattress. Her grunts and groans mixed with the sound of the creaking bed frame to form a cacophonic symphony. Lizzy had never heard anything more marvelous.
âMay I touch you, too?â
Lizzyâs response was little more than a hoarse whisper: âPlease.â
The blankets rustled as Joana feverishly sought Lizzyâs center. She discovered the smooth skin of Lizzyâs inner thigh before sliding her palm up.
âYouâre so wet,â Jo marveled. âAm I like that, too?â
Lizzyâs breath hitched when Joâs eager fingers discovered the origin of her arousal. âLike a mermaid.
