Chapter Nine

Lucas woke up slowly. This bed felt like home and smelled like cinnamon, like Bennett. He tried to snuggle into the bedding and go back to sleep but couldn’t. Not without Bennett in the bed too.

He itched his chest and sat up. He was still naked, but didn’t feel dried crusty cum so he figured Bennett had cleaned him up, probably cleaned both of them up. He looked out the window and noticed it was just getting dark. He had stayed way later than he should have.

He itched his chest again and got out of bed. He searched the room for his underwear and found them and all of his other clothes folded up in a chair in the corner of the room.

He smiled at Bennett’s thoughtfulness. He scratched at his chest again and picked up his underwear, slipping them on. He cupped his balls, thinking about the way it felt to have Bennett’s cock slide against them. His neck ached a little where the bite mark was and he couldn’t help but reach up with his other hand, feeling it. They already had scabbed over. Just touching them sent a tingle through his body, making his cock take notice.

He brought his hand away and picked up his shirt, pulling it over his head.

He itched his chest again, though his shirt and winced at the stabbing pain. He lifted his shirt away from his skin at the collar and looked down. He had definitely scratched up a red mark. Lucas sighed. This witch thing was detrimental to his health. He was pretty sure he was starting to carry some of Bennett’s dragon traits, if the fact that he could smell every little thing in the house. Like he could tell a mouse was in the house somewhere and that a shifter, other than Bennett, had been in the house in the last few minutes, though wasn’t in the house anymore. The other shifter just might be Forrest. It was a scent he associated with his little one room cabin, but still couldn’t be completely sure.

Lucas put on his jeans and walked out of the room. He could tell Bennett wasn’t in the house either and he started to panic.
