Fix Problems

Rehearsals should start with all teams working on how they are going to take down the target, or actions on the objective. They should do this several times to get it done right, and then the rehearsal staff should throw in some problems to make the force think and ensure their backup plans work and are viable. Also, rehearsals will point out any glaring problems with the plan. Once this is accomplished, you can then work on your movement phase and on putting the entire package together.

Re-Rehearse, Re-Brief, and Integrate All Assets into the Plan

If there are too many problems with the initial plan, leadership should re-brief the entire plan to the group. Too many changes will confuse everyone, including key leaders, as to what the current plan is. At the individual level, men need to have a simple and streamlined thought process as to what is going to happen on the mission and their role in it. Taking the time to re-brief will save everyone a world of headaches.
