Breaking And Entering For A Priest

Getting ready in the morning wasn’t as fast as it could’ve been.

How was I supposed to say no to Sejubae? In the tub, in the bed, and when we were about to leave, she fluffed her feathers and dropped her skirt to the floor. I was lucky to close the bedroom door with my pants still on.

“I have a legitimate question for you.” I grabbed a few items from the dining hall and headed straight to the door. We were docking, you could feel it in the way the ship moved. “Do you calm down after you’re pregnant?”

“Oh, yes.” Sejubae nodded.

Temporarily satiated, she wasn’t giving me bedroom eyes anymore. She had her analytical hat on again. It was so funny how she could just turn off that crazy-horny mood with just a flick of a switch.

The bird girl took a bite of an apple and followed me up the stairs. “When an albatross woman is impregnated, the nesting fever eases and she can go back to her ordinary life. But, once the child is born, within a short time period after the birth, the nesting fever grows again and she’ll become insistent of her mate again.”

“Damn, so you’ll get nesting fever for the rest of your life?”

“Until I can’t have children anymore.”

I tried to imagine it. Both of us, at fifty years old, her waking me up to ride my cock in the morning. It wasn’t a bad problem to have.

I chuckled to myself. “It must be crazy living in one of those albatross communities then.”

“Quite a few albatrosses never find their mates.” Sejubae hesitated and when I glanced down, her eyes met mine. “If…you had not been in that accident, I would’ve never met you. I never would’ve found my mate.”

“You would’ve found somebody.”

“That’s not how it works, Daniel.”

“What about Haidott?” I rubbed my jaw, pushing past the last hallway to the upper deck. “His girl left him.”

“Can I tell you a secret?”

That piqued my curiosity. “You’ve got it.”

“I don’t think she was his destined mate,” Sejubae admitted, her voice low, like Haidott could’ve popped out from one of the ship’s empty rooms. “He never…experienced the same…there was no possibility he felt the same as I feel for you.”

“Does that mean there could be somebody out there for him?”

Sejubae didn’t get a chance to answer my question, and as soon as I asked it, the question flew out of my mind. Because the sun greeted us as we stepped on to the deck and the Nine Lives Kingdom. Holy shit.

I walked up to the railing of the ship and took a good look at the marvel in front of us. It wasn’t anything like Tapush’s Rook. The Nine Lives Kingdom was built on a much more stable work of metal and remaining rock. There weren’t rickety bridges between waving buildings that could’ve blown away with a sharp breeze, there were hard iron bridges, beautifully woven and designed.

Different materials were haphazardly melted together to make buildings either.
