We slept well that night and then in the morning made our way back to Eiris. Just as before everything resumed and it was still dark, we quickly made our way to my parentâs house as to avoid them knowing we had left. We now went to sleep. She rested on the couch and I went to my bedroom. The morning came quickly. We rose and prepared the coffee. My parents walked out completely unaware of the past events of which had occurred.
The force
âAre you ok Hope?â
âNo, I canât sleep I keep hearing something.â
âIâm sure itâs just the wind or something outside.â I tried to reassure her.
âItâs more than that.â She suddenly began to cough up blood!
I took her arm quickly and set her down on the edge of the sofa. I wasnât one to diagnose health problems. My mother quickly rushed to aid me.
âWhat have you eaten in the past few days?â
âJust normal foods.â
âWe need to take her to the hospital!â she demanded.
I picked her up and carried her to the nearest car and my mother made her way into the driver seat. I kept close to her and as we went further down the road she continued to cough blood, it rushed into my hand. I took some of the paper towels out of the glove compartment where my mother kept them in case of spills in the car. I ended up using all of them but she still produced blood. My mother told me to allow her head to hang so she would be able to breathe. She didnât speak but I could tell she wanted to. Her eyes began to close indicating her slipping into unconsciousness.
âKeep her awake, donât let her sleep!â
I slapped her face as to wake her.
âDonât go to sleep keep your eyes open, look at me!â I began to panic more so than my mother. Hope again began to go to sleep, I now at this point began to both slap her and then out of desperation shake her. It was futile
I had only one more option, use my powers. I didnât care if my mother saw I just did what I could to keep Hope alive. I began to use my healing power but it didnât work, neither did any of my other powers. I had no way of helping her thus she fell unconscious in my arms!
My mom was at this point speeding well above the limits. We finally arrived at the hospital and I ran without worrying about my mom, my main concern was to getting Hope into the hospital to receive care.
The one power that did work was the one that allowed me to don my suit. So, I now could go back with her and my mom.
âWe need to get her into surgery. She has internal bleeding.â
I quickly scrubbed and put on a surgical gown. I didnât partake in the initial surgery I just handled the tools.
âMaster White Bo, what are you doing here?â I held a very serious face.
