“Yes. What does your ideal date look like?’ Antonio asked.

“Why did you become a doctor?” Asked Melinda, trying to stay professional, or at least avoid too many sexual inquiries.

“It wasn’t much of a choice. I’m Puerto Rican. The only way to make my mother proud was becoming either a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life working at a computer, and attorneys? Don’t even get me started on that! I like people, and of those three, the only ones who really help people are doctors. And I suck at math, so engineering is out of the question.” Antonio said, keeping to himself some crucial facts about why he chose his career.

“Oh no. You definitely don’t know my family,” joked Antonio. “So, M. What do you like to do on your time off?”

“That’s a good question, Antonio. I’m a creature of habit and time off is not on my calendar too often.”

“You didn’t answer my question.”

“Ok! Well, I run daily, I go to the gym two or three times a week, and I cook almost every day. Real cooking, not the mac-and-cheese type of meals.
