Sailing to Nazareth and Jerusalem is not possible due to the fact

that they are both on hills and do not touch any body of water.

The author of Injeel Barnaba could not have been an eyewitness to Jesus’ life. The geographical mistakes prove that the author did not live at the same time or in the same area as Jesus the Messiah.

The author of Injeel Barnaba states that Jesus took a boat across the Sea of Galilee to Nazareth.

“Jesus went to the sea of Galilee, and having embarked in a ship sailed to his city of Nazareth.”

Injeel Barnaba Chapter 20

Yet, if one looks at the map, one can see that Nazareth does not touch any body of water. In fact, Nazareth is on a hill. It would be physically impossible for this to happen.

The author goes on to describe him going “up” from Nazareth to Capernaum.

“Jesus went up to Capernaum, and as he drew near to the city...”

Injeel Barnaba Chapter 21

The problem with this statement is that Capernaum is at a significantly lower elevation than Nazareth. This is not a minor mistake, but a major one. You can look at the map to verify the mistakes for yourself.

The author makes mistakes in describing the land of Palestine during Jesus’ time. A person who lived during that time would be familiar with the region. This would be even truer if that person had actually been traveling with Jesus. In the following chapters the author speaks as though he was actually present at the events that were taking place, and had been travelling with Jesus and his disciples; this undermines his validity as an eyewitness, since he made such major mistakes.

18. Christian and Muslim Relations

The false book Injeel Barnaba is a divisive one. It claims that the followers of Jesus have become pagan.

“Then said one of the doctors: ‘Master, you have spoken much against idolatry as though the people of Israel had idols, and so you have done us wrong.’ Jesus answered: ‘I know well that in Israel today there are not statues of wood; but there are statues of flesh.’ Then answered all the scribes in wrath: ‘And so we are idolaters?’”

Injeel Barnaba Chapter 32

“’But how does Israel bear himself? How many prophets has he slain; how many prophecies has he contaminated; how has he violated the Law of God: how many for that cause have departed from God and gone to serve idols, through your offence, O priests! And how do you dishonour God with your manner of life! And now you ask me: “What will God give us in paradise?” You ought to have asked me: What will be the punishment that God will give you in hell; and then what you ought to do for true penitence in order that God may have mercy on you: for this I can tell you, and to this end am I sent to you.’”

Injeel Barnaba Chapter 68

It goes on to claim that Muslims and Christians are enemies. This claim would encourage Muslims to attack them and take their lands.
