Visitors with children may want to head to kid-friendly attractions such as the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom (www.jungle.com.sg; daily 9.30am–7pm) with over 1,500 butterflies and an exhibit of unusual insects, the interactive Sentosa 4D Adventureland movie theatre (tel: 6274-5355; www.4dadventureland.com.sg) first show 10am, last show 8.15pm), and the Skyline Luge Sentosa (www.skylineluge.com; daily 10am–9.30pm). Sentosa’s best attraction in Imbiah Lookout is Images of Singapore (www.imagesofsingaporelive.com; Mon–Fri 10am–6pm, Sat–Sun until 7.30pm), a fine wax museum housed in the colonial-style, former military hospital. This tells of Singapore’s history and displays its various cultures using life-sized dioramas, artefacts, films and replicas of old street scenes.
