Preparing myself for a full workload today, I sat at my desk and stared at the stack of manila folders that were placed on my desk ever since this morning.

I glanced at the clock on the wall; it was 3:51 p.m. I sighed. Once again, I’d work through my lunch. With the constant ringing telephone and patients coming in and out of the clinic, the staff was busy throughout the day. What made things worse was that I had been day-dreaming about Lorenzo and our intense sex session the other day. Spending time with Lorenzo yesterday was the most exciting thing I had experienced in a long time. Lorenzo made me feel desirable; a feeling that I’d been missing from my marriage for many years. Marcus treated me like trash for many years, but Lorenzo understood my needs. I tried to get Lorenzo out of my mind, but it was a struggle to do so. I could not wait to spend more time with my new homie lover friend.

My cell phone vibrated as I walked into the break room and saw a text message from Lorenzo. I read the message to myself:
