KITCHEN The kitchen is large and has two access points to other rooms to allow for maximum flexibility. A large sliding glass window can be opened to form a serving hatch onto the breezeway if the weather is warm and the preference is for dining there. Alternatively there is a generous opening, at bench height, between the kitchen and the dining area in the living room. Here, a wooden panel slides over to close off or open up this connecting space. The kitchen was originally designed in white laminate but was renovated 15 years ago using Tasmanian oak and terracotta tiles which brought it more in keeping with the materials used in the rest of the house.
