After his arrest in 1984, Rev. Mehdi Dibaj spent nine years in prison. Even there, he considered it a privilege to live for his Lord and was filled with joy at the prospect of dying for him as well. Finally, on December 3, 1993, Dibaj addressed the court in the city of Sari to defend himself for embracing Christianity. “I am ready to give my life for the sake of Jesus,” he said.
