The unopened pill bottle and filled-to-the-brim wine glass sat untouched where she'd set them before climbing into her bed of clouds. Sharae lay listening to the battling voices in her head vie for her undivided attention, and she smiled.

The life that she had carefully planned had somehow now become meticulously unplanned. She laughed and promised herself that she would proceed with caution but would live a life with no regrets.
