You will need:

1. A copy of your credit report.

2. You need your social security number

3. Clearly identify each item in your report you dispute.

4. State the facts and explain why you dispute the information.

5. Request a deletion from your report, as the law requires.

Your letter may look like this:

Your Name

Your Address

Your City, State, Zip Code

Date

Complaint Department

Name of Credit Bureau

Address

City, State, Zip Code

RE: Inaccurate information on my credit report.

Dear Sirs:

I am writing to dispute the following information on my

credit report. The items I dispute also are encircled on the

attached copy of the report I received.

The following items are incorrect:

1. Account number, Credit account

2. Judgment or creditor or tax court.

Those items are inaccurate. They do not belong to me.

I am requesting that the items be deleted. By the FCRA

you have thirty days to conduct an investigation. Any

information which is not 100% accurate, must be deleted.
