2. Transferring eBooks to the Kindle Reader for Android Using a Mac

Using a Mac, previously downloaded eBooks can be transferred to the Kindle Reader for Android devices. Make sure the eBook is a MOBI or PRC file. To transfer a book to an Android:

1. Unplug the USB cable from the power adapter that came with the Android device. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the bottom of the device. Plug the other end into a USB port on your computer.

2. Touch Mount or Mount as Disk Drive, depending on the device. The Android device appears as a removable disk drive.

3. Double-click the icon on the desktop. The Android folders appear, as shown in Figure 4.

4. Double-click the kindle folder. The 'kindle' folder opens, as shown in Figure 5.

5. Drag and drop the downloaded eBook into the folder. The eBook appears in your library on the Kindle Reader.
