Bekka woke up, warm and naked and…her hair was caught under Mari’s head.

Huh.

Also, vaguely ow.

And she needed to pee, and casts were heavy.

And Mari didn’t seem to be going anywhere.

She traced one finger around Mari’s nipple, watching it draw up, wrinkle as it tightened.

Mari licked her lips and hummed softly, eyes still closed. “Evil is as evil does.”

“Mmhmm… I’m a very good girl.” Totally good. Close to angelic, even.

Goddess, she was going to get zapped.

“Did you sleep?” Mari stretched and shifted, and suddenly her hair was free.

“Like a log. Are my crutches close, honey? I have to pee like a racehorse.”

“Oh. Uh…” Mari sat up and looked around, then hopped out of bed and retrieved her crutches from her side of the suite. “Crutches.” Mari seemed so comfortable being naked.

“Mmm…thank you.” She stole a quick kiss, then limped and hobbled to the bathroom. She did her business and washed up a little before she crutched her way back.

Mari was giggling softly. “I don’t know who decided that crutches were safer for you than being on skis.”

“You just like watching my boobs as I jump along.” She winked, cackling as she laughed.

“Oh, I’m not even going to pretend that I don’t.” Mari was all smiles and bedhead. “Is it morning? The middle of the night? I’m hungry, are you hungry?”

“I don’t know, and I think so. Starving.” Bekka’s stomach was growling good and loud.

“Pancakes?” Mari picked up the hotel phone. “Sausage?”

“With lots of butter and maple syrup? Please?”

“Mhm. Hello, room service?” Mari ordered the pancakes, sausage, butter and extra syrup, a bowl of berries, coffee, juice and a bottle of champagne. “No, this isn’t for breakfast later, this is for now. Mhm. Late dinner, early breakfast, call it what you like. Thank you so much.”

That confirmed it must be the middle of the night.

“I think they think we’re crazy.” Mari grinned at her.

“We’re on our honeymoon. We’re allowed.”

“Exactly so.” Bekka got a playful kiss, and then Mari slipped out of bed and wandered toward the bathroom while finger combing her hair. “My turn, and then I guess we should at least find robes so we don’t scandalize room service.”

“Mmm… I can wrap up in a sheet like a toga, if you want.” Bekka giggled, finding herself more than a little over the moon. She was naked. In bed. With Marissa.

This was a damn fantasy.

“Oh, like in the movies!” Mari called from the bathroom. She heard a flush and water running for a while, and when Mari finally came out her hair was just about perfect. “Better. Took care of my pizza breath too.”

She had wrapped herself up, and she imagined she either looked like Liz Taylor or a marshmallow.

“Mmmm-m. I have a Greek goddess…or maybe a sexy mermaid in my bed.” Mari climbed back in, sitting close.

“Oh, mermaid. I like that. I like that thought a lot.” She managed to keep the cast covered, so she didn’t ruin the illusion.

Mari kissed her cheek. “What should we do today, pretty?”

“Mmm…can we make love again?” She’d suggest the hot tub, but hot tubbing in a garbage bag seemed a little tacky.
