The feeling of warm flannel against her nude body pulled Lexi out of sleep, or something close to it. “You're finally up.”

Lexi stared up at Andrea's face. What the hell happened? Fragments of her last moment before conking out were there, but past that, Lexi didn't even know how long she'd been out.

Andrea scooted closer, her face right in Lexi's. “I knew you couldn't handle it yet.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Here, let's see if you're ready again.” Andrea tugged at the one layer of cover over Lexi. “You enjoyed it, too much.”

Realizing her bra wasn't on anymore, even though she didn't remember taking it off, Lexi jerked the flannel over her shoulders. Crawling back against the headboard, the sudden insecurity reminded her of a classroom underwear dream. “I don't know what the hell you did, but that's enough.”

“Easy.” Andrea backed off and sat cross-legged, bare muff on full display. “I only did what you asked me to.”

“And my bra? How did it come off?”

“You can't blame me for wanting to look.” Andrea smiled and looked at both of them in the mirror. “You've got so much shame in your new body, even though you love being in it. I can't figure that out.”

If they were both still men, Lexi would have slugged Jeff right in the jaw. But for now anyway, Jeff was still Andrea. “Listen, I just want to be a man again. Can you help me or not?”

Andrea's smile sent a chill down Lexi's spine. “Trust me, if I didn't need your help, I wouldn't have even talked to you. We've both got something to gain.”

“So why should I trust you?” Lexi tucked that last bit of shoulder under the sheet. “I already know you'll take liberties when I'm passed out.”

“And you wouldn't have? Your reputation as Jack Harpeth isn't exactly a secret.”

“Fuck you.”

“I get it.” Andrea reached for a set of underwear and laid them beside Lexi. “Go on, get dressed. We've both got things to do tomorrow.”
