And peace, nurturer of children, spreads throughout the land, nor does wide-seeing Zeus ever decree grievous war for them. Nor does hunger ever follow after men who pronounce straight judgments nor destruction, but at banquets they reap the fruits for which they work. For them earth yields abundant produce, and in the mountains the oak carries acorn on its top and nourishes bees in the middle. And the wool-fleeced sheep are weighed down by their wool, and women give birth to children resembling their parents. And they blossom with goods all year round. Nor do they sail on ships but the barley-giving earth produces fruit.
