Soul over the mind

Soul over mind implies governance of the soul over the mind. The mind and the soul should ideally be pillars of support for each other, working in unison to reach the ultimate destination. With reference to the example above – guided minds would improvise, experiment and devise intelligent ways of disciplining their children rather than blindly follow methods they embraced from their experiences. Their mind would have done the much-required introspection and realised that cruelty and abuse is not the solution to problems. It is more debilitating than anything else.
