“It’s a little messy.” I stepped through the door of the loft and bent down to pick up a shirt on the floor. “Pretend you can’t see all the stuff on the floor.”
“What stuff?” She giggled and lunged forward to wrap her arms around my waist.
“Exactly.” I lifted my arms and turned to face Autumn to pull her body closer.
It was crazy how quickly my life changed the moment I was back where I belonged. For so long I thought going to college and getting a specific career was more important. Turns out my happiness was priority. That meant being with Autumn.
“Well, we’ll add a few deadbolts to ensure we have a little bit of privacy,” she winked.
I fisted my hands around the edges of her sweatshirt. “Can I say what I’m really thinking right now?”
She turned her head to the side and smiled. “Of course. You have me curious.”
“I have thought about fucking you for two months.” I bent down and captured her lips.
She pulled back. “Two months? But you’ve been home for three.”
“Well, in my defense the first month was touch and go.” I rocked our bodies side to side. “Then you let me kiss you in the evening and I just wanted to devour your pussy.”
“Liam,” she gasped. “You didn’t just say that did you?”
“Too soon for that?” I shrugged my shoulders.
Autumn pushed my hands away and lifted her shirt up over head. “Actually, it’s perfect.” She placed her palm on the center of my chest and pushed me back. “You better be prepared for this romp.”
“Oh, I’m ready.” I started to unbutton my shirt.
“Then that means you have condoms in this tiny place somewhere, right?” She glanced around the room.
I slapped my hand over my forehead. “Oh shit.”
She grabbed my wrist and pulled it down. “You better be fucking with me?”
I reluctantly let her go and walked over to my dresser and pulled open the top drawer. “Well, I don’t have a lot, but there are a few.”
She surprised me by doing a running jump onto my back. “A few is more than one, so we can continue.”
“Did I unleash the beast the moment I told you how I was feeling?” I grabbed her hands and brought them to my lips.
“What do you mean?” She dropped her chin onto my shoulder.
“I just missed this. Us. Together.” I walked over to the bed and turned to let her fall onto the mattress. “We used to have so much fun together.” Autumn was laying in the middle of the bed with her arms out to the side. “You take my breath away, Autumn Appleton.” I knelt down and ran my hands up her thighs.
“I missed being with you, too.” She leaned up onto her elbows. “It’s weird, until you said something I had erased it from my mind.” She grabbed my hand. “Let me clarify. We needed to work on us first; sex had to wait.”
“You’re better than me.” I winked, then started to unbutton and unzip her jeans.
