CHAPTER EIGHT

About two months had passed since I made the deal with Sean. After reaching out to my people in Detroit and doing a background check, it turned out Sean was official and about his business. He ran “ALL” of Detroit North, South, East, and West. His army was deadly, ruthless and deep. Per our agreement, I had only been copping a little at a time. Thirty bricks here, forty bricks there you know just enough to keep Sean on the hook and Rico off my ass.

Sean was right; the profit I was making off of his product was crazy. I only wished I could buy more without rocking the boat.

“Baby, this new arrangement is working out great,” Jream said, dumping a duffle bag full of money onto the bed.

“Yes, we made the right decision. Now, if only we could increase the orders,” I said racking my brains.

“In due time baby. In due time,” Jream said, kissing me softly.

I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t falling hard for Jream. I mean if what me and Porsha had was special, and believe me it was, then I had no idea how to explain what Jream and I had. She mentally, emotionally, and sexually took me to another level. I was fucked up in the head because that was usually my job.

Jream knew how to push my buttons and she was all over me.

“Come on, baby. Let’s make love all over this money,” she said, getting undressed.

“Uh uh you know we got work to do. We will have plenty of time to play later. I said, pulling my eyes away from the vision of beauty in front of me.

“Oh, okay I will bag this money back up and put it in the safe when we get to the club.”

“Great idea. Let me get dressed and I suggest you do the same,” I said, getting up from the bed.

“Okay, I’m getting in the shower with you.”

“Oh, no you don’t. You wait until I get out with your little hot ass,” I joked, slapping her on the round, firm, bare ass.

When we got to Kandie’s, the club was packed. It was a Friday night, so I expected it. I called ahead and had security posted by the back door on the account of we were bringing in so much money. Once we got into my office, Jream and I poured the money out and started counting it using the multiple money machines I had in the office. After about half an hour, we were done counting, separating, and wrapping the money.

“Okay, so that’s two hundred and fifty thousand. Not bad for a few days’ work, huh babe?”

“Not bad at all, ma’. Not bad at all. As a matter of fact, go grab us a bottle of Ace of Spades. We got some celebrating to do,” I said, staring at the stacks of money that covered the desk, the table, and the couch.

“Okay, baby I’ll be back,” Jream said as she sashayed out of my office.
