Chapter Seven
Harriâs head jerked toward him. In addition to the black mask covering his eyes, he wore black britches, but no other clothing. The eyes behind the mask flashed at her, and his voice twisted into a snarl.
âYouâre late.â
She struggled to find her voice. âPardon, sir.â
âI have been waiting here by myself for centuries.â
âYes, sir.â
âWhat was I supposed to do, diddle my own cock?â He looked her up and down. âThat dress will do, but you must pull down the neckline so that your breasts are bare.â
Harri wanted to back out the door, but she could still hear the heavy footsteps in the hall. She was trapped between two dangerous alternatives. Her heart began to pound until she was surprised it didnât make the front of her dress flutter. With fumbling fingers, she loosened the laces at the front of the bodice.
âNow ruck up your skirt and tie it in the back so I can see your cunt.â
She wanted to scream that she was not the girl he was expecting, but she had no choice and started to obey with trembling hands.
âHigher.â
Harri snatched the skirt to her waist, holding it bunched in one hand. The man stepped closer, staring down in anger as he twisted his fingers in her pubic hair and pulled. âYour cunt is not shaved. I specifically asked that the girlâs cunt should be free of hair.â As he spoke, he grabbed a riding crop from the wall rack and slapped the business end against the table as though he meant to bash it through the flat surface. Then he reached out and landed a massive swipe against her bare bottom. She screamed.
âYouâll get a lot worse than that.â He glanced over at a fire burning in a brazier in the corner of the room. Several irons rested in the coals.
Harri shuddered. Gods, what was he planning to do?
âBut I am thinking that perhaps you should unbutton the front of my britches and suck my cock before we do anything else,â he said in a calmer tone.
Harri felt lightheaded as she struggled to hold back a whimper.
When the door pushed open, a wave of ice swept over her as she expected to see one of the navy and scarlet clad guards. They knew she didnât belong here, and they were coming to collect her. A man cleared his throat, and she steeled herself for him to haul her off to the management.
When he spoke, she realized it was Gareth. âThere you are, you little slut. How did you end up in here?â
Her voice quavered as she answered, âI got lost.â
âWho in the seven hells are you?â the masked man demanded.
âIâm sorry to have caused a fuss,â Gareth said, without answering the question. âThis little baggage has escaped from me, and now I have captured her. I think she is in for a very painful punishment session.â
âI can help you with that.â Master Mask glanced toward the brazier, and Harri took the opportunity to make the fire flame up.
