Sestus groaned a protest, but my Missions Commander covered his mouth so that I could hear his advice clearly. “We’re ready, Captain. Just give the order!”

I sat back, pleased. We had them nearly where I wanted them. Just a bit further and I’d spring the devious trap I had devised for the Xolian Captain. “No, I’ll tell you when I’m ready.” I sneered. “Soon, very soon, Captain Quinn. I’m going to take that pretty ship and its pathetic crew as my own. I might not even turn you and your little mate over to the bug. I just might keep the two of you and make you each watch the other be tormented!”
