God is love

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, for his love endures for ever.”

“Love is patient and kind. Love envies no one, is never boastful, never conceited, never rude; love is never selfish, never quick to take offence. Love keeps no score of wrongs, takes no pleasure in the sins of others, but delights in the truth. There is nothing love cannot face. Love will never come to an end. There are three things that last for ever: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of the three is love.”

These are words on a portrait with the sea and rocks in the background, which hangs in by brother’s room (the one who is now with Jesus). It is a summary of love as we find it in I Corinthians 13. If we could summarize God in one single word, then it certainly is “LOVE”. He loves us so much that He allowed his only Son to die on the cross!

Just look around you and you will be surprised about everything that God does/accomplishes in your life. You are already very privileged if you are very healthy; have a job; have a home to stay in and have food on your table every day. Jesus’ love may be seen all around us and He will never fail us. There is no end to his love! God is love, our hearts rejoice. And all God’s children say, “AMEN”.

Lord, thank You for the endless love you have for me. Amen.
