ASARO’s corpus embraces all manner of artistic expression as well as varying techniques and talents. Whether the topic is political (addressing, for instance, disputes over disappearances); social (confronting questions regarding violence against women); economic (disputing the benefits of capitalist expansion); or a combination of these three, and regardless of whether the primary subject is a historical figure, a contemporary event, a popular sentiment, or the centerpiece debate, multiple artists address the topic in varying formats from individual and group perspectives.
