"Nicolas!" Dream called, grabbing the little boy's attention from the tv screen.

"Papa?" he babbled back in worry.

Okay, we all need to take a moment to sit down and talk about something that has occurred recently that needs to be addressed. Typically, I would prefer to contain this to an author's note, however, this is far too important of a conversation to leave in the notes where it could potentially be overlooked or skipped. Please, take a moment to read this because it's so important.

Last night there was a person who commented wondering if there was a way to block stories from being in the search menu because of their own personal preference. I know that could've come across as rude or upsetting, however, I took no issue with the question because it was posed very respectfully and I did answer it to the best of my ability. However, another person came in after me, who was more rude than the original commenter themselves and was extremely belligerent to this person.

I completely understand the frustration, but sometimes people are new to ao3, or the only solution to their problem has to come through communication with the author themselves. Not everyone is going to think to search first because ao3 isn't always the easiest place to obtain information from.

The way the commenter addressed them back was extremely rude and I would consider the belligerent nature bullying.

Now, I want to make one thing extremely clear.

I will never allow bullying of any type inside of my community. There is no if-ands-or-buts about it, you can take that toxic behavior elsewhere because it is completely unacceptable.
