“On the Plant City, Atlantic & Gulf R.R.,” this real-photo postcard, taken 12 miles south of Plant City, was mailed from there to Tampa on March 10, 1906. Interestingly, the seven women shown in the photograph are all named below the image. Although difficult to tell for certain, the building behind them appears to be a railroad station. (Plant City is directly east of Tampa.)

The South Georgia Railroad crossed the state line and terminated in Perry, where it connected with the LOP&G. Wood burner 2-6-0 No. 103 is shown working at Perry on August 12, 1933.
