Write from the Heart

Your frantically paced life may leave you little time to write your feelings. Take this moment to write yourself a love letter. Through writing, you can channel your love inward. Keep this letter with you as a reminder of the endless well of affection you have for yourself. Here are some suggestions for generating that love note:

List ten things that you love about yourself.

Start with “Dear [your name],” and imagine someone madly in love with you whispering into your ear. What kind of romantic expressions would he or she say?

Write about a selfless and caring act that you did for someone.

Write the following five times: “I love and cherish you inside and out, each and every day.”

Write the following three times: “You are a magnificent and radiant person. There is only love and compassion here for you.”
