Facebook provides you with the option of either a daily budget or a lifetime budget. The daily budget is for those who are looking for an ad that runs continuously daily. Your spending will be set to be adequate for the day. Lifetime budget is for those who are looking to run an ad for a specified length of time. Facebook will pace your spending to accommodate the selected time period.

Further specification of your budget can be done focusing on the four features found in the advanced options section. You can decide upon the schedule. You can have a campaign that runs immediately and continuously or you have specific start and end dates. You can also have specific times or days.

Facebook can also set your optimal bids. Once you have chosen this feature you will need to select manual bidding. Selecting this option allows you to have total control over how much you will pay for a completed action. You can also have a delivery type. This could be accelerated or standard. Choosing standard means your ads will be shown throughout the day. Accelerated delivery aids you in getting to your audience fast.
