Let's write a method to initialize from the contract; this should be protected so that it can be extended should another developer need to do so:

vehicleGroupId = _contract.vehicleGroupId();

}

Next, we will write the method to make the change, which is done as follows:

protected void UpdateVehicleGroup()

ConVMSVehicleTable::Find(vehicleId, true);

if(vehicle.RecId != 0)

{

vehicle.VehicleGroupId = vehicleGroupId;

vehicle.update();

}

}

We should write a validate method. Even though the contract can do this, the class might have further validation requirements in a future version—or a customer may wish to extend this through Chain of Command:
