“That’s it, there’s no more.” Ben began siphoning through the pages making sure there was nothing more hidden. When he seemed satisfied, he piled everything back in the folder.

“Seems almost similar to what my brother has been saying. Break throughs with memory, like knowing right and wrong, before Hades gets a handle on them. I wonder if they didn’t do his bidding the way he wanted so he killed them or forced them back to wherever he is.”

Heath gave a quick tilt of his head. “Yeah, I was thinking same thing. Seems his new thing, or maybe not new but maybe newest tactic to us, is the memory stuff.”

Aella was shaking her head, “no, I don’t think so. He has slipped up a lot. I think this little thing he pulled today, is a way to cover for his mistakes. Add a little scare tactic to cover.” Deacon was agreeing, Mark said nothing, but she could see his mind was there on the same page.

“When he had me all those months, I remembered nothing. My brother though, he had him longer. Seems the longer he has someone, the more apt the slips of memories happen.”

Natalia leans over to Cam kissing his cheek as she says, “Also seems the more powerful the person, the more slips. Colbie, your brother is carrying some heavy power. It’s dark, but he is powerful.”

Natalia’s eyes move to Ben, but this time she smiles, “You my brother, you are extremely powerful, hello Ares.” She teases. “He was holding your power by the necklace. I’m thinking that he didn’t get Colbie’s brother young enough or have him long enough to be able to siphon the power into those charms.”

Heath leans up with a smile on his face looking to Nat. “I think you’re on to something that’s making sense. He has a pattern, in a way.” Heath sat up maneuvering until he was sitting on his heels. “He’s tried different ways of control. Each being a test maybe to what will work best. Natalia was trained and controlled by minions. Humans under extreme control. Her grandmother, had the necklace, he obviously had held it over her head.” He looks to Cam, “you had the controlling parents, Hades used to bide his time. In general majority here, there was some kind of control over the parents. But for a few, it is the necklaces. It seems like he has to have control for a long while, or from newborn.
