Ingredients

5 peaches, ripe

2 jalapeños, stems removed, diced

1 tbsp ginger, finely diced

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tsp lemon juice

Directions

1. Peel the peaches then remove the pit and chop 3 of them in a bowl.

2. In a blender, add the remaining peaches and pulse till a puree forms.

3. In a pan, mix together the peach puree, ginger, jalapeños, sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon on medium heat.

4. Simmer, stirring occasionally for about 5-6 minutes.

5. Stir in the chopped peaches and simmer everything, while stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes or till desired thickness of chutney.

6. Remove everything from the heat and let it cool before serving.
