While most of the homes in this book lean toward simpler styles, this home is so amazingly quaint that I could not resist including it. Classic design is always a treat for the eye—whether simple, or charmingly ornate like this example.

Paul and Toni’s kitchen is extremely inviting and cozy—yet spacious at the same time. One of the best things about taking pictures of old house interiors, for a photographer and author, is that owners prepare for your arrival with pies and other goodies used as props.
