Despite my desire to fall in the bed and sleep for a hundred years, Mom’s note brought the giggles and re-energized me. Troy had wanted to keep me company until my exams, but I told him I’d meet him in my dorm room when the tests were over. I didn’t like distractions before exams, and Troy was probably the biggest distraction in my life…in a good way, of course. Besides, the time between Jex’s class and my exams’ start time flew by. In that time, I’d huddled in the library and reviewed my study guide and class notes. Because I didn’t know which of Mr. Gibbs’s classes I’d be tested on tonight, I played it safe and reviewed notes for both ParaMythz and Creature History & Anarchy.
