In addition to property managers, I work with several different realtors in the markets that interest me. When Iâm ready to buy a property, I contact these realtors and let them know my criteria. From there, I let them call me. I always vet realtors by making sure they made it through the 2008 housing crisis. If they did, then I know they can handle anything.
Consider shopping in different states, and even in different countries. I use websites like jasonhartman.com and the Marshall Reddick Network to connect with realtors from all over the country, which allows me to own properties in states I have never visited. I simply hire an attorney for the title and escrow work. The attorneyâs realtor, who is trusted and established, assists with the property purchase.
