Huge waves surpassed the heads of the onlookers, witnesses to the marine phenomenon. It was bizarre. In front of you was a photographer with his tripod pressed into the sand, agape at the spectacle.

You said goodbye. I’ll come back when conditions are better. And that was it.

Now the ghost glides across the floors of another house. Stones, golden horseshoes, animal vertebrae, none of it offers protection to those tenants either. The ghost drinks water from a glass where there’s a trace of your red lips.
