Chapter Ten

Sondra’s cell phone rang as she and Kel came out of the bathroom. She flipped open her phone.

“Hello.”

“Hi, sis, I’m calling to let you know I’m at your place. My boss gave me Friday afternoon off so I packed and caught the first flight out instead of driving. Where are you?”

“We’re staying at a downtown hotel. Is your cab still there? If not we can come get you.”

“He’s waiting. I wanted to be sure you were here at the apartment.”

Sondra glanced at a card Boyd handed her and gave Britt the directions.

“I’ll be there soon.” Britt clicked her phone off.

“We’re going to have company. I suggest you move my things back to the other bedroom. I want to take my time telling my sister about you all and Triple Dare County.”

Boyd nuzzled her ear. “I’m glad we got some good lovin’ in before she called.”

Kel helped her move while Boyd showered. “I’ll call downstairs and add another guest for dinner and tell them that we would like to eat in the dining room.”

“Thanks. I’m sorry we messed up you and Boyd’s plans.”

He tilted her chin and savored her mouth with his lips. “There will be other times. I’m looking forward to meeting Britt.”

Sondra put her arms around his waist and breathed deep of his own particular scent, all man and sexy. “Lucky me, finding two such wonderful men.”

“And don’t you forget it, darlin’.” Boyd sauntered in, dressed in dark-brown slacks and a white shirt.

“I’d better make the call about dinner and get dressed myself.” Kel kissed her forehead and slowly stepped out of her embrace.

When he left, Boyd pulled her against his hard frame. “One quick kiss and you’d better dress, too. Did you bring that sexy black outfit?”

“I did.”

“Maybe you’d better wear something less arousing or Kel and I may forget to be good around your sister.”

“What, you have no control?” She grinned at him.

“Not much where you’re concerned.” He kissed her and gave her butt a quick slap. “Get ready, woman, or I won’t be responsible for what happens next.”

She pushed him toward the door. “Then get out and leave me alone.”

Chuckling, he closed the door behind her. Sondra opened her suitcase. She’d brought two sexy dresses. She’d wear the other one and see how they liked it. But she’d better hurry or Britt would be here.

Sondra had just finished dressing and putting on her makeup when she heard a knock on the suite’s door.

Kel and Boyd waited in the entranceway for her. They took one glance and Sondra had to grin at their lusty looks.

“Behave,” she whispered. Then she opened the door and Britt stepped in and grabbed her in a hug.

“You look great.” Britt held Sondra’s arms and surveyed her from her high-heeled gold sandals to the lacy top of her golden-brown cocktail dress. Then she glanced at the men standing at Sondra’s side.

“My goodness, you two look like you just stepped out of GQ Magazine. Except you might be even more handsome than their male models.
