Chapter Six

As I hold a finger to my lips, the two of us sneak up the stairs and down the hallway past my sister’s room. We try our best to walk as quickly as we can without making noise. I don’t hear any sounds coming from it, so it’s likely Valerie is finally sleeping it off. Appears we ought to be in the clear as long as neither of us gets too loud.
