State sponsorship of political Islam and jihad (chapters 1 and 3):

• The terror war is primarily a consequence of the previous and continuing policies of nations that constitute the axis of jihad. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran may be seen as constituting the axis; these are nations at the forefront of spreading political Islam and sponsoring worldwide jihad for Islamic conquest.

• Political Islam is primarily a tool for Arab expansion and conquest.

• Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or Hezbollah are either symptoms of the policies pursued or proxies of this axis.

• The resurgence of political Islam is mostly due to Saudi funding of Muslim institutions and distribution of literature around the world that promotes an Islam that emphasizes literal emphasis of the doctrines the Wahhabi interpretation of Islam.

• Under pressure from America, Saudi Arabia has scaled down jihad directed at American interests. But it has not done so against countries such as India or Israel.

• Using charities, Saudi Arabia continues to sponsor the Talibanizing of Muslim-majority nations such as Bangladesh and of Muslim communities around the world. In other words, Saudi Arabia is still pursuing jihad buildup throughout the world.

• In nations where political Islam is dominant, jihad building not nation building is the aspiration of the country.

• Within the past sixty years, in every Muslim-majority area of South Asia, without exception, upon achieving power Muslims have set about expelling most non-Muslims to nearby non-Muslim areas. This data unequivocally proves that a growing Muslim population can be an existential threat to the local non-Muslims.

• By focusing on the symptoms and on Iraq, and by failing to develop a strategy to fundamentally change or neutralize the axis of jihad nations, America has wasted valuable time and resources in the war on terror.
