This dip is terrific when you need something quick and easy to whip up for a potluck or get-together. It is also amazing served warm. I like to heat it in a preheated 275°F oven for about 20 minutes. Serve it with your favorite low-carb dippers. I love it with fresh veggies, cheese crisps, and pork rinds.

ingredients

2 tablespoons butter or ghee

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into small pieces

1 (8-ounce) package full-fat cream cheese, softened

½ cup Avocado Green Goddess Dressing (here)

1 tablespoon hot sauce, such as Cholula or Tapatio

2 tablespoons diced red onions, plus more for garnish

1 green onion, chopped

1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill weed, plus more for garnish

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, minced

6 slices bacon, diced and cooked crisp

Sea salt and ground black pepper (optional)

directions

1. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and sear until it is golden brown and cooked all the way through. Set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, dressing, hot sauce, red onions, green onion, dill, lemon juice, garlic, and most of the bacon (reserve some for garnish). Mix until the ingredients are well combined.

3. Mix the cooked chicken into the cream cheese mixture. Taste and add salt and pepper, if desired. Garnish with fresh dill, diced red onions, and the reserved bacon before serving.

4. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
