Yes, our Executive Directors have given their approval for modifying all of the remaining low-floor cars, as well as, incorporating this configuration in the new cars that we’ve ordered for the Interstate extension.

1 I learned later that Tri-Met has a policy for incidents like these. If ever there is an accident, drivers are required to stop and help until their supervisors or the authorities come on the scene. If you’re going to pass out in public, a Portland bus, train, or trolley is a good place to do it.
