I watched Alex with Mika and the baby. She was a natural caretaker, and she didn’t realize it. The baby woke up while I was holding her, and she gazed at me with Alex’s eyes. The lightest blue I had ever seen. Alex came over and put her arms around me. “Are you going to stay here with me?”

“I can stay a couple of days, and then I’ll have to go home. Maine is where my home is. That’s also where our base is. I need to get Mika settled in and get school started. “You are a wonderful man, Conner Murphy.” She kissed me and leaned on my chest. “Will is going to bed. He wants Isabella to stay close to him.”

She smiled as she watched Mika sleeping on the floor. “He doesn’t want to sleep in the bedroom.”

“You’ll probably have to carry him in at nights after he falls asleep with the animals.”

“Let’s go to bed, sweetheart. We’ll worry about everyone in the morning.” I put my arm around her and we walked to her bedroom. Her bedroom overlooked the ocean. She stepped out of her clothes with a smile and walked toward me. I pulled her against me. I wondered if she would come with me to Maine. I’d ask her before I leave.

She struggled with my tee-shirt. I chuckled and helped her. Then I walked out of my jeans and boxers. I was surprised by the size of her bed. It was a giant king-size bed. I knew she never had men over. It was her second time with me.

I pulled the covers off the bed. “Why did you do that?”

“Because we’ll get tangled up in them.”

“We will?”

“Sweetheart, we are going to be all over that bed. We don’t need blankets getting wrapped around us.”

“Yeah, we don’t want that to happen,” she said as she pulled me to the bed and pushed me onto it. Then she climbed on me. I was ready to burst when she lowered herself onto me. She sat on me and started moving slowly and then fast. I knew she was going to shout when she had her release. I kissed her and took the scream into my mouth. All the while moving, I flipped her over and was on top. I made sure she had another orgasm before I let myself have one.
