2. Lock down the pelvis and lower the knees to the floor on your left side. Go as far as you can until you feel your right hip start to lift off the ground.

3. Hold this position briefly before slowly bringing the knees back to the starting position.

4. Repeat the movement to the right side.

5. Perform two to three sets of 10 to 15 repetitions to start with and gradually build to sets of 25 as core stability improves.

Advanced Level

Perform this level of the exercise in much the same way as the other levels, except hold the legs straight throughout the movement.
